The Adventure School was delivered as part of the Bedford Borough Holiday Activiites and Food Programme, through joint initiative with Canoe Trail Adventure School, helping build self esteem and life skills through learning in the outdoors.
Our school holiday activity club is designed to provide a stepping stone for young people to have fun and learn watersports like canoeing and kayaking, develop confidence and life skills and also help towards programmes like the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
The Adventure School Holiday club is a great safe place to make friends, enjoy playing games and tackling new challenges on the river, at our woodland or at the Kempston Outdoor Centre. The Centre is a great base with outdoor classrooms, changing rooms, shower and toilet factilities, pizza ovens, bushcraft areas, as well as an indoor climbing wall and bouldering area and high ropes course. Our woodland and outdoor centre have direct access onto the River Great Ouse.
